2. When should I show up?
The service begins at 10:30 AM on Sunday. The doors are open at 9:30 AM.
3. What is the dress code?
The Church doesn't really have a dress code. Typical clothing might be described as "business casual." Some people wear suits and ties, some wear jeans.
4. How big is your church?
A small church like ours provides a real sense of family where the members have close personal relationships with one another and with the pastor. While not everyone is comfortable with the intimacy of a small congregation, ours is a church where everyone knows each other, and there is a chance for every member to participate in our mission.
5. Is there childcare?
Yes. We have a nursery available for ages 4 and under. Christian education classes are available for ages 5 - 18 during the school year.
Young children (under 4) typically remain in the nursery for the duration of the service. However, they are invited to attend the children's sermon and communion.
School age children (ages 5 to 18) typically attend the first part of the service and proceed to their classrooms after the children's sermon.
Children of any age are welcome to attend the full church service. Quiet toys are welcome in the service.
6. How long does the service last?
The service begins at 10:30 AM and lasts about an hour, sometimes longer with communion.
A coffee hour follows the service.
7. What about communion?
Communion is held on the first Sunday of every month. All are welcome to participate, including children. Expect leavened bread and grape juice.
8. Is Race, Gender, Age, etc. an issue?
We welcome all people, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, age, ethnic background, difference in ability, economic circumstances, or family configuration. We are an "Open and Affirming" Congregation.
